Mailing list members are users that have subscribed to a certain mailing list to get regular emails, such as weekly newsletters. If the mailing list client program that is used to administer the mailing list allows it, you can also authorize members manually, but in this case such emails may be recognized as being unsolicited and reported as spam by the recipients. Generally, these members can unsubscribe from a list by clicking on a hyperlink in the email messages they receive, or you, as the mailing list moderator, can delete them manually in case they ask for this or if you reach the decision that some of the members should not belong to the mailing list any longer. Each mailing list member will be able to see only their own email address in the "To" field of the email messages they receive, but not the addresses of the rest of the mailing list members.
Mailing List Members in Hosting
If you’ve got a hosting
with our company and you set up a mailing list, you will be able to manage the subscribers without any effort. You do not even have to log in to your Hepsia hosting Control Panel, as you can do everything via email from any place whatsoever. By sending email messages with given commands to firstname.lastname@example.org, you’ll gain access to loads of features offered by our popular Majordomo mailing list client software. You can view a complete list of all existing mailing list members, or if you need – you can include/remove members. If you add a new email address, the user in question will get a message and will need to confirm that they wish to be included in the mailing list. Deleting a mailing list subscriber is also really easy – you’ll only need to send an email message to the admin email address associated with the mailing list.
